The Char Broil Designer Series of grills are all part of a premium grouping of higher end products from one of the best known names in grilling. It is easy to see with the Designer Series grills that they are not short on style and they all have functionality to match. The Char Broil Designer Zeta 550P features a porcelain lid, full cart and painted double doors. The 550P has 550 sq. in. of primary cooking area that is heated by 4 stainless steel burners and 50,000 BTUs. The burners are sparked by a pushbutton electronic ignition system. The cooking surface is comprised of porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates and complimented by a secondeary cooking surface of almost 200 inches. The 550P includes a 13,000 BTU side burner and finishes the style with the black porcelain finish which further accents the stainless steel portions of the grill. As part of the Zeta Series the 550 is built on a patented "Dual Fuel" platform that allows this unit to be easily converted to Natural Gas with the simple purchase of the Char Broil Natural Gas conversion kit (sold separately).
