Great for keeping the heat off and carrying hot stuff. Tough to use a spatula while wearing mitt and impossible to use tongs.

These gloves are great. They are long and protect my hands when I am touching hot food. The gloves are well insulated and a necessity for my kitchen.

The other reviewer was correct these are too stiff for working tongs. Yet they could be better insulated to suit me.

If I've had the heat very high I can't pick up and carry my Ducane Stainless Steel Vegetable Basket into the house with just these for protection. I purchased two mitts so I fold one around a handle on the basket then grab that with the mitt I'm wearing. But they are so stiff I'm afraid I will lose my grip. I need a new method. Or better insulated, more flexible mitts.
