Ducane Affinity 3100 Gas Grill

I bought this grill in 2008 for my husband after our 7 year old charbroil disintegrated literally! I was shopping for grills, which we use 12 months a year) and decided that 7 years was way to short of a time for a large metal object that would end up in a landfill. My conscience told me that I needed to find a more permanent solution or at least something that would last longer. I read reviews and did a lot of research and chose a price point at which I would not go over. What I found out was that stainless steel or cast iron works and lasts longer than porcelain coated. Electronic igniter is better than a push button or knob, and the thermometer almost always breaks. So I searched and bought the Ducane 3100. It was in my price point and had most of the requirements.
