Summary: like new performance 2008-11-08
Comment: After 10 years the old Weber seemed ready for barby heaven, but I decided to look into replacing the guts. Pulled everything out, seriously cleaned the box, and installed new guts including these bars. Works like it did new and only cost about $100 for flavorizer bars, burner tubes, cooking grates, and igniter. I'm not handy AT ALL, but it was easy. Needed a philips screwdriver, and a 7/16's nut driver wasn't necessary but did come in handy. Took about an hour - somebody good at this stuff could do it in 20 or 30 minutes.

Summary: Kudos to Weber 2008-08-09
Comment: Several years ago I purchased the smallest gas grill that Weber offered. I was torn at the time between buying a small quality grill or a larger cheaper one. I have no regrets in choosing Weber. Although the grill I purchased (Genesis Silver A) is no longer available, Weber still makes parts for it. It took me less than one minute to change the rusted out flavour enhancing bars with the replacements. Bravo Weber!
